Manually operated retractable probe housing EXtract 850M
There is also a need for process sensors in simple industrial processes, e.g. for pH measurement, that can be regularly removed from the pipe without having to switch off the system. This is easily possible with the new, manually operated EXtract 850M retractable probe housing.
With the new EXtract 850M, EXNER is bringing an economical retractable probe housing for simple industrial processes to the market. Regardless of whether in the beverage industry, water treatment or wastewater treatment, there is an increasing need to extract the process sensors used, such as for pH measurement, for maintenance or calibration purposes during ongoing processes.
The EXtract 850M retractable probe housing is manually operated and is suitable for installing standardised 12mm sensors with a length of 120mm. The probe housing can either be attached to tanks or pipes. An integrated locking system holds the built-in sensor in position while allowing easy alignment of the protection cage of the probe housings. This in turn protects the inserted sensor against mechanical influences. Depending on the desired application, the EXtract 850M can be made of stainless steel or plastic and with various process connections.
