The EXspect 291 is high-precision NIR turbidity sensor designed for monitoring production processes in the food and pharmaceutical industries, as well a in a wide range of other process applications. Its robust, compact stainless-steel housing and wear-free sapphire window make the EXspect 291 a reliable turbidity sensor featuring integrated signal processing electronics and a touchscreen display. It is particularly well-suited for processes involving very low turbidity levels - such as in water applications or post-filtration measurements in breweries. Two alarm thresholds can be defined, an an integrated switching output is provided. Using the EXpert parameterisation software, the sensor can be easily adapted to specific measurement tasks.
