Reset filterSensors of the EXplore range
New types of sensors enable an economical entry into turbidity measurement technology.
Use of proven technology, but reduced to the essentials. This was the recipe for the development of the new EXplore turbidity sensors from EXNER. The sensors of the new series enable users to get started with turbidity measurement technology easily and also economically. At the same time, no compromises have to be made in terms of basic functionality and robustness.
The focus during development was on devices that were as compact as possible, which could be delivered pre-calibrated and parameterized ready for installation. The EXplore series is mainly used in the production and processing of food and beverages as well as in the processing industry. The sensors are used, for example, for monitoring phase separations and product changes, in filter monitoring and color-independent concentration measurement. The advantage of the turbidity measurement is its high level of accuracy combined with a fast response, which allows media changes to be recorded in real time.
The sensors have a 4-20mA interface as standard and are CIP/SIP-capable. Depending on the prevailing media turbidity, you can also choose between a measurement based on the transmitted light or backscatter principle. Solid matter references are available as optional accessories for checking the measured values in the plant.
The new EXplore series thus complements the already established EXspect series, which has a larger range of functions and measuring range as well as an additional touch display.
