Exner is not only an active member of the working group, but will also be exhibiting at the upcoming conference this year.
At the BIOTECH 2025, latest advancements in bioprocess development and manufacture with single-use technology for biotherapeutics, cell- and gene therapeutics and cellular agricultural products will be discussed between international experts from industry and academia. 24 talks and 4 plenary lectures cover developments in upstream and downstream processing. A special focus will be put also on continuous bioprocessing, process analytical technologies and materials for single-use applications and emerging processes with single-use equipment! An open discussion format will cover sustainability aspects of single-use based production. The conference is accompanied by an exhibition and workshop format, including more than 25 companies of the field. The conference is a continuation of the well-known series held at ZHAW in Wädenswil/Switzerland until 2019. Now, the conference will succeed in Freiburg (Germany) between 16th and 18th June 2025, organised by the Dechema e.V., working group “Single-Use Technologies for Bio-Based Applications”.
