The new version of the EXpert software offers new functions both via the firmware and for sensor parameterisation.
The EXpert software is a solution from Exner for parameterising the optical sensors produced in-house. At the same time, the software enables the display and recording of measured values, as well as data export.
With the new version 2.5.0, in addition to the already familiar offset function, which allows the measured value to be set to zero, the user has an additional option for adjusting the sensor to a reference medium or device. For the corresponding adjustment, a previously determined or calculated value can be directly entered and saved in the sensor using the expanded offset function.
The second innovation concerns the firmware of the EXspect compact sensors. The new version makes it possible to electronically rotate the touchscreen display in 90°-steps. All 5-pin versions of the aforementioned sensor series can be sent in for an update if necessary. For the 8-pin versions of the EXspect 231 and EXspect 271 sensors, an independent update to the latest firmware version is possible using the ECI-01 communication interface.
